The Today show host, who is expecting a baby boy with her husband of 13 years, Cyrus Moran, shared glimpses of the weekend celebrations held at Carlton Wine Room, resharing photos on her Instagram.
Abo looked radiant on the night, wearing a flowing long-sleeved white winter gown paired with black heeled boots and silver accessories. The sheer detailing of the dress highlighted her baby bump, which she lovingly cradled in photos with her friends.
The venue was decorated with elegant white floral arrangements, while a pastel-themed cake stole attention—decorated with blue hearts and the words “oh boy!” in icing, marking the couple’s soon-to-arrive son.
Guests enjoyed a cosy winter menu featuring pasta, salads and roasted vegetables as they gathered to celebrate the milestone moment. Friends shared heartfelt messages, calling it a special new chapter for the beloved TV presenter.
Abo first announced her pregnancy in March during an appearance on The Today Show, revealing that the journey had not been easy. She later shared that she and Moran had experienced two miscarriages before this pregnancy.
Describing the experience as one filled with “cautious optimism,” she spoke openly about the emotional path to parenthood and expressed gratitude for finally reaching this stage.
