Fiji and India have reaffirmed their strong bilateral partnership, pledging to enhance cooperation in security, digital resilience, and capacity building.
Fiji’s Minister for Policing and Communications, Ioane Naivalurua, held talks with India’s High Commissioner to Fiji, Suneet Mehta, to explore opportunities for closer collaboration in several strategic areas.
The discussions focused on strengthening cybersecurity, improving law enforcement cooperation, advancing digital resilience, and expanding skills development initiatives. The meeting underscored the growing strategic partnership between the two nations.
Minister Naivalurua acknowledged India’s ongoing support for Fiji’s security and digital transformation efforts, while High Commissioner Mehta commended Fiji’s commitment to fostering stronger bilateral and regional ties.
